I'm sorry,
i didnt give u the full details of the problem which i'm facing here,
C:\>ftp sapphire
Connected to sapphire.
220 sapphire FTP server (SunOS 5.7) ready.
User (sapphire:(none)): team1
331 Password required for team1.
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.
ftp>
Above mentioned excersie i carried out to make a ftp connection,the result
of the excercise is, login incorrect,to all the users i've tried ,i also
tried for root,it works fine for root,as root i can login,but as normal user
i cannot,i can also make a telnet ,i checked /etc/inetd.conf file,no problem
in it,and also in Solaris 5.7 there is no /etc/ftpusers & also no
/etc/shells i've checked with other Solaris 5.7 machine's which i have .So
i dont have any idea how to trouble shoot.i also made a
# pkill -HUP inetd.conf
even it didnt help me,please help me solving the issue.
