We had seven V210 machines suffering a power outage.
After the power came back, three of them booted up normally. These machines
have ALOM firmware version 1.0.
The other four machines stayed in the "sc>" prompt after power restore.
Giving the command "poweron" did not work. We had to physically go to the
machines and press the button on the front panel to wake them up. These
machines have ALOM version 1.3.
I'm aware of the ALOM setting "sc_powerstatememory", introduced in ALOM
version 1.1, which when set to false (the default) keeps the host power off
after a power outage. What bothers me is that the "poweron" command fails in
such a situation.
Any insights appreciated.
