I need to change an hme interface from auto negotiate
to 100 full.
I use the ndd command to observe the current value
ndd /dev/hme link_mode
root >ndd /dev/hme link_mode
0
I have tried to set the value on the interface using
the following commmand
root >ndd -set /dev/hme link_mode 1
operation failed, Permission denied
The output of ndd /dev/hme ? shows read only
permissions. How can I, or should I, change the values
to read and write that would allow me to set the
interface to 100 full.
