Subject: i2c woes

Hello All...

Anyone have any ideas?

Two Sun Fire 280Rs (A & B).
Solaris 9 (5.9 Generic_112233-05)
Dual 900MHz CPUs, 2GB RAM, Dual 36GB Disk as SVM Mirror set.

The only difference in config between the two (apart from the usual
sysidconfig stuff) is the patch revision (System B having a newer revision
set)

System A is fine. No problems at all. Solid, stable and quick. (You get
the picture).

System B shows no i2c information (e.g. via prtdiag).

picld is running.

$> /usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v

$> /usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/fruadm -l

No i2c!!!

Is this hardware failure?

Or should I simply add the device alias again?

Thanks in advance for any pointers / insight / ideas / inspiration or
solutions.
