Hello managers,

I just want know if solaris provides the Interoperabilty between BOOTP
and DHCP ?

In our Lab we have one Bootp client which configures only through Bootp.

We started dhcpd in Bootp enabled mode, even then the client refuses to
configure.

I downloaded source for bootp(its not bundled with Solaris anymore)
which worked fine.

Packets captured during the acitivity i..e bootp server and dhcp server
in bootp enabled mode , dont show anything different between the two
processes.

Packets during Bootp server ( it works )
