hi there
I've just picked up a copy of Solaris 9 for mucking about with and I am
attempting to install it from the console using web-start.
Got to the modifying slices stage.
I want to modify the swap slice but web-start tells me that "This slice
cannot be modified because it is either the default swap slice or is
marked as preserved." Now, i didnt mark it as preserved, and i can see no
flags in the web-start interface that can be modified.
The default size is 513 megs, which could be increased.
The machine is a E250 with 2 x 400Mhz, 2 gig of RAM and 6 x 18 gig disks
Don't know the version of Solaris 9, i think its at the most xx/02
Any help appreciated
