sendmail Delivery Problems, Single invalid email among multiple local recipients

Dear sun-managers,

We are running sendmail ver. 8.11.6-15

Problem being faced is that whenever a user tries to send a single email
to multiple local recipients and if accidentally mistypes even a single
email ID, then the message remains in the out box and is not even sent
from client to Email Sendmail Server.

In my opinion, it is good as it ensures that until user corrects all the
email Ids, email is not delivered to anyone.

But Some of the users object to it as they want that email should at
least be delivered to valid local users and should flush out of outbox ,
as it continues to hold subsequent emails as well.

Are their any solutions to this ??

Could someone throw some light on how to configure sendmail to accept
email to all local recipients without analyzing if the mail box is
correct or not?

Sendmail should process to the maximum extent possible and send back the
non-delivery to sender only for the invalid recipient, as it happens if
there are non-local recipients..

If i include one valid local Email ID and an invalid non-local Email ID
in a single email, and send it, it goes through !! Local email is
delivered and there is a non-delivery message for invalid non-local mail
box !

Why this behavior only for the local multiple recipients ??

Appreciate help.

Regards
anil bindal
