Hi folks,
I have burnt a Solaris8 FlashArchive onto a DVD and am trying
to build a clone system with it.
I an running Webstart (booting from the Solaris8 OE DVD), but when
I get to the part where you specify the media, I cannot eject the
Solaris8 DVD.
When presented with the menu for secpifying the media,
I choose option 1 i.e. CD/DVD
As soon as I choose this option it starts the installation from the
already loaded DVD. I tried ejecting the DVD prior to selecting option
1 but as expected the DVD is busy and cannot be unmounted.
There is a workaround. If I boot from the Solaris 8 installation CD
instead, then I can load the DVD after selecting Option 1.
So does anyone know how to do this with the Solaris 8 Operating Environment
DVD ?
