Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to clear or even spool file descriptors
in Solaris 8. My problem is I am running a web application the allows users
to upload and download documents(word,excel,.) and it seems the downloading
is leaving all the file descriptors open and I get a "too many open files"
error in my application logs. I tried setting them higher but it just took
longer for them to be used. Another thing that would be useful is a way to
view how many are opened so I.
