Telnet server problem

HI All,

When i try to telnet into my server, I encounter the
following issue and I am not able to login into the
system.The system is a Live one and I will not be able
to reboot the server.
Kindly help me and the error message I face is as
follows,

ld.so.1: login: fatal: libc.so.1: open failed too many
open files

Kindly help me on the above.
