Hi Guru's
I am planning to implemant vpn server on solaris for remote dial in for my
network of 200 users.
I have mix enviorment as windows 2000 server, linux , solaris, hp-ux 11, Ibm
aix.
My network is divided in vlans by cisco layer 3 box.
I want to configure vpn in such a was eg any from a vlans connects to vpn
server for access through internet,
once he is authenticated he gess access to only the vlan of his team and of
course not the entire network, same with other projects and there respective
team members.
I do have cisco pix but if I want this senario implemented through cisco pix
it calls for additional cisco software
to take care, which is quite costly.
Can anyone suggest me some software on solaris which could solve the
purpose.
Also would pptp is quite secure or l2tp or ipsec.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Chetan Panse,
