Hi All,
 
I have a question about how to check if a backup worked if it was not logged.
 
I was running a backup via a console (laptop) and did it interactively (rather than to a log file) as I had to manually change a tape.
 
My question is ... Can I both run the backup script interactively, with the output going to the console as well as to a log file ? If so ... How ?
 
Also, the console was taken off the server before the backup finished, and I wasn't sending output to log. How can I check the backup finished correctly ?
