This morning when I restarted our SUNBlade 100 (Solaris 8 operating system),
I noticed in the /var/adm/messages file the error message:
SUNW_piclenvd: pmthr thread creation failed!
I do not know if this is a new development, or if this error has always been
there, as the previous message logs have already been overwritten with other
messages since the last reboot and I don't want to reboot the system right
now unless I really need to.
What does this error message mean? Is it an error message that I need to be
worried about, and if so, what action needs to be taken?
