exercising a sun

Hello,
Last month I posted a question about a SUN280 that was
getting a PCI-PBM error and crashing. A fellow admin sent
me a message stating that both CPU's and motherboard had
to be replaced to fix his. However, now the it seems that
the problem just disappeared. For a whole two weeks,
it is crashing every couple of hours or so and the next
day it is not. The room is tempature controlled and the
rack where this box is located does not seem "too
warm" and it's power comes from a power con-
ditioner that services the whole room.

I have since moved all of the services off this host.
It worries me that I had a problem and now I don't. Per-
haps it will show up again if the machine's in use. (the
problem may just surface again when I can least afford it. )
That is why I am looking for some software to run a Sun
"through it's paces" eating up CPU and RAM repeatedly
if necessary.

Thanks in advance and I will post a summary if I get
any replies,

chuck
