Hello,

I have an external Tape Autoloader that is hooked up to its own SCSI
channel. I would like to remove it so I can service the chasis without
taking the whole system down because it is a file server via attached
storage on another SCSI channel. Is there a safe way to remove the tape
drive without causing a crash?

I running Solaris 9 x86 with onboard dual channel adaptec u320 scsi. Channel
A is 2 - 36GB hard drives. Channel B is connected to a Sun L25 Autoloader.
There is also an adaptec 29160 scsi card connected to an external RAID
array.

Thanks in Advance,

Ray
