Sun PCi II disk images

We're running into problems creating disk images on Sun PCi III
cards that can be copied to different workstations. On our Sun PCi I
cards, we've been successful at creating a master image, running
sysprep, then starting that image up on a Sun PCi card installed on
a different workstation. When we attempt this on Sun PCi III cards
we get the following message on any machine we've copied the
disk image to on startup:

SunPCi: Could not initialize network interface for NDIS operation.
Please check to see that you are using a valid ethernet interface
the name of the interface that could not be opened is eri0
eri0

No TCP/IP networking works at this point.

We've had a case open with Sun for several weeks now, and I'm becoming
impatient with the lack of progress. Our users have been patiently
waiting for us to provide some direction on what they should purchase for
running their Windows-only programs, and until we figure out how to move
images, or find out definitively that it can't be done, we're holding
up their work. This seems like such a reasonable thing to *want* to do
(well, apart from the running Windows part :) ), that I was hoping that
someone more familiar with either the Sun PCi III cards or Windows had
some experience with the issue. If you've managed to copy a master
Windows hard drive image between Sun PCi III cards, please let me know.

We've tried this on Sun PCi 3.2, Solaris 9, and a variety of
hardware platforms, though the above messages are from a Sun Blade 150.

Thanks,
