I'm looking for a way to compare the relative performance between several
servers. As the servers will be connected to a SAN, I'm not too concerned
about I/O tests, (like IOzone can provide), but more of CPU and Memory
performance. Can anyone suggest something non-commercial (free) for this
purpose. It would need to be quite strenuous I would think because they are
quite hefty servers. (8-way v1280 vs. 8-way v880 vs. another 8-way I have
with a slightly different configuration).
