Hello,
Recently a server failed which had a d1000 connected.
I'm trying to import the disks from that d1000 to a
different server. The e4500 server sees the disks
(both veritas and format) and i was able to get some
info off of the disks:
dgname: rootdg
dgid: <disk_group_id>
..since the importing host already has rootdg, i used
the dgid to import and renamed the diskgroup name
using the following:
vxdg -tC -n NEWDG import DISK_GROUP_ID
..upon issuing the command, it seems to hang. on
another terminal vxtask returns no active tasks and
vxdisk seems to hang as well.
Any ideas?
