sun fire v240 possible graphics console

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this already but I want some admins
with more hardware experience to tell me for sure. We just purchased a Sun
Fire v240. All of our other hardware, Dell servers, Ultra 5 Suns serving
as servers and an Enterprise 220 are on a KVM switch. We're just a small
dept. and I'm the only admin. It's easier when I'm gone for people to walk
up to the KVM switch to look at things. Well, the fire 240 seems to only
have the serial mgmt console. Sun did sell me a graphics card for it as I
had planned on adding that in and hooking it to the KVM switch like I did
with the Enterprise 220. Only it seems like that's not an option. All I
get on the screen are mixed together pink and blue colors. I did notice
in the manual that there is a PROM setting for output-device. I was afraid
to try and see if the graphics card was listed there and switch to it
because if it fails how would I get back to console mode?

Thanks for any advice,
Lisa
