Hello.
We are upgrading from a e420 (solaris 8) to a e4500
(solaris 9). The old server (e420) was also connected
to a EMC symmetrix (jni cards were installed on the
sun box). We need those disks to be seen in the newer
server (e4500). The e4500 has 2 jni fce2-1473 cards
installed, drivers installed, jni self-test was
successfull, probe-scsi-all show's the emc disks and
sd.conf has the luns from the old server. The problem
is when booted in solaris, running 'format' does not
display the emc disks, only the disks in the a5200.
Tried devfsadm as well as 'boot -r'. Has anyone had
this issue, know of a resolution, can point me to some
helpful docs?
