Hello,
I'm having some issues w/ veritas. I am using an e4500
running solaris 9 connected to a a5200. Here's what I
see:
# vxdisk list
vxvm:vxdisk: ERROR: Cannot get records from vxconfigd:
Record not in disk group
# vxprint
vxvm:vxprint: ERROR: IPC failure: Configuration daemon
is not accessible
# ps -ef|grep vx
root 13 1 0 Mar 13 ? 0:04
vxconfigd -m boot

# vxdiskadm
/usr/sbin/vxdiskadm: Cannot create lock file

# disks
# devlinks
# vxdctl enable
vxvm:vxdctl: ERROR: enable failed: Error in disk group
configuration copies
# more /etc/vx/volboot

the disks appear in 'format'.
any suggestions, information, reference links or
questions are greatly appreciated.
