DiskSuite growfs using soft partitions and hard partitions

Hello Everyone,

I can't seem to figure this problem out even after spending some time (trial
and error, RTFM and googling) on it.

Here's the problem:

I want to use growfs on /var, but can't seem to figure out how to do so
because I need to use soft
partitions versus slices. I need to use diskspace from other disks since /var
is mirrored. Each available disk
has s0 as a soft partition.

How I do increase submirrors d21 and d22 (see below) using soft partitions on
another disk?

Thank you.

Eddie

# metastat d2 (/var)
d2: Mirror
    Submirror 0: d21
      State: Okay
    Submirror 1: d22
      State: Okay
    Pass: 1
    Read option: roundrobin (default)
    Write option: parallel (default)
    Size: 2664522 blocks

d21: Submirror of d2
    State: Okay
    Size: 2664522 blocks
    Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
        c0t0d0s1 0 No Okay

d22: Submirror of d2
    State: Okay
    Size: 2664522 blocks
    Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
        c0t8d0s1 0 No Okay
