I have put the solaris 8 cd 1 of 2 in a windows NT machine.
and changed the CMOS setup first bootable to CD and
restarted the machine.The installation part went fine.
The network card is not detected .
it asked for second CD I have put second CD solaris 8 2 of 2
and installation went fine then again it asked
"insert the solaris 8 Cd 2 of 2 "
I have skipped the step.
But anyway my solaris is working now without network card .
How can i downlad the network card for 10/100 Zenith card.
After that i installed oracle 8.0.5 on that solaris 8 machine
During the installation time there was a major error
"Make utility not avaliable"
The installation of oracle was unsucessfull.
Is there any simple steps for installaing solaris 8 and oracle 8.0.5 successfully
in a intel PC.
