I'm trying to install Solaris on disk "c0t3d0s0" of Utlra10-machine with 3
internal disks.
The other 2 disk "c0t0d0s0" and "c0t1d0s0" is having Solaris 8.
After installing the Solaris 9 in disk 3 (ie c0t3d0s0") i get a error
while i try to boot that disk:
The Error is :
-- bad magic number in disk label can't open disk label package --- When i did google,i found many ppl having same problem and as per the solutions i found over there,i tried to recover like this ok boot cdrom -s (from solaris 9 CD1/1) mount /dev/dsk/c0t3d0s0 /a cd /a cd /usr/platform/'uname -m'/lib/fs/ufs installboot bootblk /dev/rdsk/c0t3d0s0 sync sync init 6 But the problem was not solved. *NOTE* i'm using solaris -9 original media -Dilip _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers
