My first message wasn't clear and please excuse me. With some usefull feedbacks I have reached this point:

Now when I click on the "Computers me on my W2K workstation" I get the following error "Workgroup is not accessible". There no problem with the network because I am connected to the SUN box via my W2K using ssh.
Any ideas?. I have searched the Google for this error message but no valid answer is given.

Hi Managers,
I installed samba-3.2a from source and build it. Ran testpram and ok. Set up the smb.conf (basic one). My Windows 2000 workstation(Samba client) can't see the Solaris 9 (Samba server).
Any help appriciated
