utmpx and wtmpx problem (growing larger)

Hi everbody,

          My wtmpx and utmpx is growing larger than the normal.
Can i write a script so that it will copy the two files and zip the copied
one, then null these two files ( repeated through cron job).Any suggestions in
this regard is highly welcomed.
