SUMMARY: Static Routes

All:

Sorry about the confusion in my last summary on this topic. This one is
better. :-)

Overall the consensus has been to add the route either through a standalone
script in /etc/rc2.d or append to an existing script such as
/etc/rc2.d/S72inetsvc or /etc/rc2.d/S69inet. I chose the S72inetsvc script
which has worked fine. There doesn't appear to be a standard by Sun from
everything I have found. I also received this link which was helpful:

http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/submitted/persistent_routing.html

Sample script entry:

# static routes
/usr/sbin/route add net xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Regards,

Lauri-
