Can't boot from CDROM on Netra T1/105

I'm trying to reinstall Solaris9 (12/03) on a Netra T1/105, currently
running Solaris9 with a Generic 64-bit kernel (probably a Core
installation.)

Trying to boot with "boot cdrom" results in:

Boot device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1/pci@1/ide@e/cdrom@2:f
Can't read disk label
Can't read disk label package
Evaluating boot cdrom
Can't open boot device

The netra then boots from sd0. However, after booting, the volume
manager successfully mounts this CD on /cdrom/cdrom0

I've used this CD to provision other machines, so I don't think it's the
media.

Any ideas? TIA.
