No password needed to login

Hi All,

I am trying to configure an account to have no password required to login.

I have put NP in /etc/shadow where the encrypted password would normally
be, but this doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything else I need to
do ?

Sorry if this is a little trivial ...... I'm running Solaris 8.
