Dear SunManagers,
I want to send mails for my Sun workstation to the users on lotus notes mail
server.
I should be able to send attachments along with the mail and all this is to be
done via command line.
Basic configuration ie domainname,resolv.conf has been done and I am able to
send the mails and view the attachments via lotus notes client.
I am using the following method :
# uuencode /etc/hosts hosts.rtf | mail -s "test mail" abc@xyz.com
Now the problem which I am facing is that I am not able to see the sender name
of the mail. If the mail is sent via root login, I can see that the mail is
from super-user. But when I am logged in as local user on Sun workstation,
although I am able to send mails and receive on to the lotus notes client but
I am not able to see the sender name.
Please guide.
