Several weeks ago, I posted a request for information
about ftp and RSA SecurID. The simple answer is PAM.
1. Solaris 9 ftp authentication via ACE and PAM.
The Solaris 9 ftp daemon is based upon wu-ftp, version 2.6.2
and supports PAM. Add the following line to /etc/pam.conf
and ftp authenticates via SecurID. The library is from RSA.
ftp auth required /usr/lib/security/sparcv9/pam_securid.so
The prompt is still the phrase, 'Password:', but enter the passcode.
2. RSA PAM
The RSA PAM agent is a file named, ACEAgent_50_PAM.tar
The file can be downloaded from http://www.rsasecurity.com/download/
I am trying to usr SecurID for ssh, telnet, and CDE (dtlogin).
I have succeeded with telnet, but not with dtlogin. As I learn more
I will post further information.
