I have a system that returns 0 for it's snmp cpu counters. All of my other
systems respond properly. I have upgraded the snmp daemon to version 108869-22
but it still returns 0 for all cpu counters.
Here is a sample snmpget on the machine with a problem.
ptimspr1:johnf$ snmpget -v 1 -c public pquedb4 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.3.13.4.0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.42.3.13.4.0 = Counter32: 0
Here is a sample snmpget on a machine that works properly.
ptimspr1:johnf$ snmpget -v 1 -c public ttimdb1 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.3.13.4.0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.42.3.13.4.0 = Counter32: 135079049
I ran the snmp agent in debug mode to see if it would suggest anything. It
didn't but the output follows nonetheless. According to the snmp agent it is
working properly, it's just that 0 cpu ticks have been used in the past 195
days...
