Would like to combine filesystem into single virtual filesystem

Hi all. I've used the loopback filesystem to mount filesystem to
other parts of the filesystem hierarchy (lofs), and the loopback utility
to mount images as file systems (lofiadm). I was wondering if there was
a facility in Solaris that would allow more than one filesystem to be
mounted (similar to the lofs) to the same place and virtually merged.
(This stems from the need to share out a few filesystems in exactly this
manner.)

    Example: (this does not work!)
    mount -F lofs /usr/jim:/usr/bob:/usr/sam /mnt/newdir

such that ls -l /mnt/newdir shows all file from all hierarchies (any
duplicates would be overridden by the first filesystem, or superseded by
a latter one, it doesn't matter.)

lofs is really badly documented, so I'm having a hard time finding
any answers. Looking for a quick fix.

    Thanks for comments,
    Eric Noriega
