Hi
I downloaded a developer's (free I believe) copy of
SOlaris 9 for x86. The version is 12/03
I am trying to install it on a PC with foll. config:
Digital PC 5100 (I did not find this on HCL)
Pentium (1) 200 MHz with MMX - single processor
64MB RAM (factory fitted by Digital)
10GB QUantum Fireball disk
2MB Matrox Millennium Video Card
It previously had FreeBSD 5.1 which worked fine.
I tried installing with Software CD1 and the install
CD. In both cases after whether I choose option 1
(standard install) or 2 (custom install) (I do not
remember exactly), the installer after "syncing the
disk" tries to reboot the computer, and the whole
thing begins again (f2_continue to see devices etc).
Can someone pls advice where I am going wrong?
