Hello,
We have several of these machines running Solaris 8 on a WAN along with
several SGI's. I have noticed that ftp performance is slow when the
Sun's are the receiver's. I don't believe this is a problem solely with
Sun's ftp, because the performance of our database replication isn't
what it should be either. I have spent time looking on Sunsolve for
patches and did find 111883-23, which contains several fixes for the ce
driver but it didn't help. All interfaces are running at F100. Any info
or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.
sgi -> sgi (1713.62 Kbytes/s)
sun -> sun (871.86 Kbytes/s)
sgi -> sun (992.01 Kbytes/s)
sun -> sgi (1821.52 Kbytes/s)
Thanks much,
Mark
