Hi all,

I have below problems pertaining to the system performance, any one can
advise me !!

1) Could not able to edit the bigger size files ( like 111 MB file) in
CHRTSPCRPT02 server and getting error "tmp file too large"

2) need to investigate why a large portion of CPU time is in kernel mode.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CHRTSPCRPT02 # ls -l
total 673616
-rw-r----- 1 ora920 dba 172369415 Jan 29 10:27
spcrpdb_ora_13903.trc
-rw-r----- 1 ora920 dba 117002586 Jan 29 10:29
spcrpdb_ora_13917.trc

2) CHRTSPCRPT02 # ulimit -a
time(seconds) unlimited
file(blocks) unlimited
data(kbytes) unlimited
stack(kbytes) 8192
coredump(blocks) unlimited
nofiles(descriptors) 1000
vmemory(kbytes) unlimited

3) We need to investigate why a large portion of CPU time is in kernel
mode.

load averages: 0.93, 0.81, 0.66 CHRTSPCRPT02
