New Solaris 9 backup options

I am looking at backing up a handful of Solaris 9 servers such that if
the system crashes that I can get the system back to a state in which I
don't have to completely rebuild the system. These servers are not
production, per say, but they would require a lot of effort if they had
to be completely rebuilt.

The current options are to backup the systems without using 3rd party
software (expense) and using a SDLT attached to one of the systems.

My thought was to use ufsdump to backup each of the systems that could
be used for restore if necessary in the case of a failure or if we lose
data that needs to be restored.

In looking at Solaris 9 I have noticed that they have some new options
such as flash archives, UFS snapshots, the jumpstart (been around for
some time), etc.

What are people's recommendations for backup / restore?

Thanks.
