I've got an E3K coming in a few days as the replacement server for
the SUNHELP.ORG web sites and mailing lists. However, it needs to
go in the existing 19-inch rack.
I don't see that Sun ever offered an official rackmount kit for this
machine (although they did for the E450). Other than the SharkRack
stuff (which I adore, but cant afford as SunHELP is a not-for-profit/
on-the-side hobby), can anyone recommend a rackmounting solution for
an E3000?
Is anybody running an E3K just on a flat or preforated metal shelf? If
so, I'd need recommendations for a good sturdy shelf that will hold
at least 200 lbs.
