Hi SunManagers,

I had installed the Solaris 9 on new Intel machine.
When i installed it, it didnt detect the network card driver (Realtek RTL
8139 A onboard)
So i went to the site
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads1-3.aspx?series=16
<http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads1-3.aspx?series=16&Software=Tr
ue> &Software=True
and downloaded.I got the driver for Solaris 8.

Anyway i installed the Solaris 8 driver and please see the output of
ifconfig -a

# ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=1000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 8232 index 1
        inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
rtls0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
        inet 192.168.14.240 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.14.255
        ether 0:c:76:7d:32:43
.
The Problem is when i restart the machine, the IP address configuration are
getting reset.
So everytime when i restart the machine i have to configure the IP address
again.

Kindly advice how to overcome this problem.

Regards,
Saravana Babu.
