Obtaining WWN information

Hello,

I have recently installed two X6767A HBA's in a SUN 480 system ( Solaris
8 02/02) and have followed the documentation regarding installation of
the required drivers and patches (docs 816-0907-13,816-4999-10 and
816-5000). These are to be attached to a SAN (IBM ESS F-20 Shark via
Inrange FC/9000 Directors) for storage space on the server. My problem
is that after a boot -r the system does not build the device nodes for
the attached SAN infrastructure because nothing is yet configured on
that end. The procedure outlined in the above documents fails to
indicate any WWN associated with the cards, however the configuration of
the SAN ( which is not under my control) requires that I supply a WWN
for my attached host. But I require an attached device to obtain the
WWN. This leaves me in a catch-22. Does anyone know of a way to obtain
the WWN without first having the san configured? I will summarize to
the list.

Thanks
