Hi Managers,
I have two servers, one solaris 8 and another linux 7.2..
I have put these lines in hosts.allow and hosts.deny in both the machines
_hosts.deny_
in.rlogind:ALL
in.rshd:ALL
in.telnetd:ALL
_hosts.allow
_in.rlogind:mercury
in.rshd:mercury
in.telnetd:mercury
So that only *mercury* machine can do rlogin or telnet to my servers...
The linux server is behaving correctly but the SUN server is allowing
all..Even if I say
_hosts.deny
_ALL:ALL
I am still unable to restrict login in SUN server..
