Guru's

Just wanted to see what you all thought on this subject, the office where I
work we use samba but in a very basic form. We are using it for printing
and just a simple workgroup set-up. I have played a little with PDC, but
my worries here are disk over heads. We don't have lots of disk space so
the thought of my 70 users all creating a large windows profile worries me.
Is it possible to use PDC without the roaming profile set-up?. This was not
a problem with just NT and 2000 but now we have XP clients its a pain to
have administrator control. I.e. I can no longer run remote jobs as
administrator in our workgroup for XP clients. This is a good and bad
thing.... I like being able to have a central place for logon scripts for
the windoze boxes but don't want the disk overheads...

Anyone got any thoughts/inputs?

Many Thanks

Phil Grisedale
