Hi all,
I had a serious problem this morning and am looking up for info on the net
but that can be quick time consuming, so next best thing is to hear from
people with experience.
I have an app running on my sun server, it is a V240 Server 1 x 1 GHz
UltraSPARC IIIi processor(s), 2GB system main memory (256-MB, 512-MB, and
1-GB DDR-1 DIMMS, AC power supply, 19-inch Rackmount kit, One 66-MHz /
64-bit PCI slot, Two 33-MHz / 64-bit PCI slot running oracle 9i database and
my application writing into the database. It is actually an Oasis atm
switch, the app that is.
I came in this morning and the machine was at the OK prompt. I cant figure
out what shut down the sun switch and as I only have access I didn't shut it
down. It is on a ups power with dual power supply. Please help me. I
wonder if there are any logs anywhere that can tell me what went wrong, or
advise generally.
