I have a sun ultra 10 machine with solaris 2.8 installed on it.I have
downloaded acrobat reader for solaris but I have to give the full path of
acroread everytime I want to read a pdf file.
what i want to do is set the path variable in a .profile file so that the
system would automatically read it when it boots. But so far i didn't suceed
in doing this.I mean I tried to edit /.profile file and reboot it but when I
entered a command the shell reports :- command not found.
what do i have to do?
