Setting PATH environement variable with Gnome?

Hi All

Bit OT, but thought someone may know this one.

I use bash for login in passwd

I also normally login using the standard Sun X login (xdm?) and this is
set to go to Gnome desktop. All this works fine, except it adds two
directories to the beginning of my PATH variable at login. One is the
Gnome binaries, so quite sensible, the other is /usr/bin which is
already set and is a pain in the position it is in.

Anyone know where I look to change this?

The stuff I have in /etc/profile is setup before the gnome stuff, so it
happens last of all.

Thanks

Peter
