Sendmail bug

Thanks to everyone who sent helpful ideas, the problem
was resolved.
I had to do a few things. The first was to chnge
permissions on the root (/) directory as they were
group writable.
I found that by runnings new aliases, thanks to
Teressa. I then had another problem - I must have at
some point changed /etc/mail's owner to 555 when it
shoul have been root (I probably typed the wrong
command at some point).
Because I was getting the following error when trying
to send mail "dbm map "Alias0" unsafe map file
/etc/mail/aliases: permission denied."
I ran the makemap command to a file, "access".
Now my sendmail works fine. - Doug
