SunFire V100 boot error

I have a SunFire V100 that's about 1.5 years old. It went offline this
weekend and when I console it, I see the following:

lom>
lom>poweron
lom>
LOM event: +0h1m20s host power on
Sun Fire V100 (UltraSPARC-IIe 548MHz), No Keyboard
OpenBoot 4.0, 256 MB memory installed, Serial #52904409.
Ethernet address 0:3:ba:27:41:d9, Host ID: 832741d9.

Boot device: disk:a File and args:
Boot load failed.
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
ok

Having not yet taken it apart to do any diagnostics, I'm assuming it
probably has a bad hard disk. Have any of you seen this error before? Is
this error indicative of a bad disk? Or is it perhaps something else,
such as a prom error? Any help you guys can offer would be appreciated.
It was supposed to be a development machine only and therefore its
backups weren't watched too closely and its disks aren't mirrored. But
our lead Java guy just told me he had production billing scripts on the
server which makes it a production maching now and much more vital.

Thanks in advance,
A. Davis
