I'm trying to connect an old (8 x 18G drive) A-1000 to a Netra T1/105
running Solaris9. As soon as I connect a terminator to the A-1000 _or_
connect the SCSI cable to the S-bus connector on the Netra, an amber
controller fault light on the A-1000 lights up. I've been _assured_
that the A-1000 was working when it was shipped. So...
Can anyone:
1) confirm/deny that the SCSI port on the Netra is compatible with that
on the A1000 (or tell me what to look for)
2) suggest a diagnostic path to confirm that the A-1000 isn't DOA
3) offer a solution path to get this thing working.
