removing mount left behind by vold

I had a problem where I could not eject a CD that was mounted through
vold. Any attempt to eject it resulted in vold stating the device was busy
even though there wasn't anyone accessing it. In order to remove the
cd I first killed vold then ejected the cd through the cd-rom's block device
name. I however still have the old vold mount present on my machine.

/vol/dev/dsk/c0t6d0/data 580446 580446 0 100% /cdrom/data

When I attempt to umount, I get the following:

umount /cdrom/data

umount: /cdrom/data busy

umount -f /cdrom/data

umount: /cdrom/data no such file or directory

What is the proper way to remove this bogus mount from /etc/mnttab ?

Thanks in advance for any help one can provide.
