Monitoring real and swap mem use per process

Flat out, what I'm looking to do is monitor a handful of processes and
I'd like to know whether their memory use is in real memory or swap (or
both). Is anyone able to tell me how to do this? I browsed over the man
pages of ps and vmstat but none of them looked like they're were going
to help me out.

The reason is lately there has been a problem (and it has been getting
worse) where our application will "pause" at random points in the day.
One of the theories is that it gets swapped out. The problem we have is
once the problem has been noticed, by the time I'm able to sit at a
console, everything looks normal.

We're running Solaris 2.6.

Thanks,
Chris
